SKUSA Red River 2003 Season Points Wrap-up

RAce 7 Report

October 19 - Red River Series Race 7 at NTK in Denton Texas sealed the 2003 season and Tom Thelen has tallied and submitted the final points.  Note that Tom maintains responsibility for these points in case of any concerns, please address Tom or Regional Director Rodney Berryhill.

I want to personally thank everyone who made this series possible;

First, Rodney and the entire Berryhill clan.  You guys simply make racing a lot of fun.

Tom Thelen, scorekeeper/AMB Wizard/pointskeeper extraordinaire.  We are very fortunate to have Tom who also serves as the SKUSA National T&S "man on top".

Jon Anderson, the tireless assistant Race Director who has had to deal with "trial by water" on a few occasions.  He probably would have preferred trial by fire.  Jon has proven his wet weather capabilities with a win in the drowning rain in Spring 2002 in the very competitive 125 Heavy class at Motorsports Ranch.  I suppose he has a little more meaning to me, as he has been a fun competitor to race with in SWRA, and he is a member of my own "small world club", having previously worked for an old friend of mine (from my early days with SCCA in the 70's) prior to moving to OK.  We look forward to your return in 2004!

All the Red River Region Competitors - you folks are just the best!  It is for y'all that I started Kartweb, and I hope you enjoy the programs we have provided.  I know many of you are subscribers, and hope to see all of you enjoying the shows throughout the off season!
