SKUSA Announces  Details for SuperNationals 7

Dublin, Ohio, October 2, 2003 – SKUSA today released further details for the SKUSA SuperNationals 7, returning to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 12th – 16th, 2003.  Recognized as the most significant Shifterkart event of the year, this race will bring together hundreds of the nations best Shifterkart drivers and will be featured on national television with coverage provided by Speed Channel.  

The lineup for this year’s event will include the traditional shifter classes as well as two new Touch-and-Go (TAG) classes that will become a part of the 2004 Regional SKUSA competition.  The complete list of the classes to be run at this years’ SuperNats event is as follows:

2003 SKUSA Rulebook will govern all applicable classes with exceptions being detailed in future  and existing “SuperNationals Updates”.

SKUSA membership required. All “New” members, this date forward, receive 2004 membership. All 2003 memberships are valid through Dec. 31, 2003. ’04 forms available at SKUSA website.

Practice will be Wednesday and Thursday with some qualifying on Thursday as well. The balance of qualifying, heats and features will take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A tentative event timetable will be released very soon. Watch “SuperNats News” online.

Existing 2003 members will receive a 20% “Loyalty Discount” on their 2004 memberships if they renew by December 31, 2003. Additional details on “Loyalty Program” in separate news piece.

Room reservations for the event can be made by calling the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino at 888-746-6955 and requesting room code “GKARTS”.

Additionally, SKUSA has made arrangements with the X-PLEX Las Vegas for those participants needing temporary trailer storage prior to the event.  Call Rick or Lisa at 702-614-5974.

2003 SuperNationals General Information

2003 SKUSA SuperNationals is in the seventh running, and second time to be held at the fabulous Rio Hotel, with a televised broadcast.  Running a temporary circuit built with the TecPro barrier system, the course is one of the finest layouts found anywhere.  Plenty of passing zones, and the best of the best will be there.

The Rio Hotel and Casino offers ample entertainment as does the rest of the Las Vegas strip.
