Space City Kart Challenge
Hey Y'all!
The next race is in Two weekends. Sunday the 19th is the last race
of the SCKC season. Please come out and race with us.
Next Season is looking to be a great one for Houston area and Texas
racers alike. Austin's Track
www.ironrockraceway.com is an awesome Facility. The onsite
kart shop has 70+ chassis in house with the remodeling almost
complete. The Members Quarters has really nice new furniture and the
closed circuit TV's are ready to be put in so you can see the racing
action from the cool hospitality room.
All the talk and want of a first class facility is now available to
us. Please support Rich Phillip's efforts as his karting roots
started with us at Space City. Check out his site and see if becoming
a member at some level is possible for you. It will be a great value
to your karting future.
I hear that the Katy track is getting a timing system and the
expansion may be very soon. I know you have heard that before but I
am starting to believe and it looks like it will happen in the near
future.
Next season for SCKC may be at our original venue, the Blimp base.
This will allow the SCKC racers practice on Saturday at a more
permanent style track. Stay tuned for updates as I find out.
