Grand Vitesse Racing
announces $10,000 to win race for TaG Karts
On December 29, 2004, in
Gainesville Florida, TaG Karting history will be made.
Grand Vitesse Racing
is presenting a Three Hour (3) endurance race for TaG/Rotax
Max type race karts with an unprecedented $10,000
grand prize and total cash prizes of UP TO
$25,000!
The event sanctioned by
SKUSA will take place on the ultra smooth, very
fast roadrace circuit on the grounds of the Gainesville Raceway.
Teams of two or more drivers
will race for 3 grueling hours, wheel to wheel in a format that will
reward planning and strategy in the pits, as well as speed
on the track.
To further equalize competition, all
teams must utilize a "spec" tire, fuel and oil...the skill of every
driver and crew member will decide this race...not the size of their
budget.
This will be the first of at least
five large purse endurance races for TaG to be held this season.
For drivers wishing to
compete, but not having access to a TaG kart, an Arrive and Drive
program is available.
A number of seats are also offered to
members of the media and special guest celebrity drivers.
The total number of entries will be
limited, so those wishing to compete in this event are encouraged to
secure their spot early!
