Iron Rock Raceway Open House
IRON ROCK RACEWAY TO HOST PRE-RENOVATION OPEN HOUSE September 24, 2004 – AUSTIN, TX Saturday, October 2, Iron Rock Raceway will host a Pre-Renovation Open House between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m at its Austin-Bergstrom International Airport location. Prospective members will be able to walk the 10-acre property and inspect the 22,000-square-foot clubhouse, including the indoor pit area, member lounge, pro shop, cafeteria, locker rooms and Iron Rock offices. Also open will the offices, shop/assembly area and training room MRP Motorsports will occupy as it provides kart sales and service, karting classes and direction for corporate training events. Iron Rock President Rich Phillips and General Manager Charlie Swayne will be available to answer questions. A map to the site can be found on the Iron Rock website, www.ironrockraceway.com Visitors to the location should take the Spirit of Texas entrance to New Airport Drive. Iron Rock Raceway, one of the nation’s first country clubs devoted primarily to kart racing, expects to open at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin, Texas, on January 15, 2005. The club is now accepting applications for its first 60 Charter Memberships.
