World Finals and Region's Cup Report

Champion Racing Intrepid drivers scores 2 SKUSA world finals wins and 5 SKUSA regions cup wins at the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex this past weekend along with several other podium and 2 TAG Promoto tour national Championships
 
The SKUSA world finals were held under the lights at the Oklahoma Motorsports Complex which brought out the top level drivers to compete for the world finals championship.
 

World Finals

In the S1 class Reed Froehlich and his Champion Racing powered Intrepid/TM went head to head with the top level drivers from around the country such as Sean Meier, Kyle Ray, Terrick Mansur and  Justin Moon.

 Froehlich qualified his Intrepid on pole and never looked back by scoring a clean sweep in the Pre-final and Main event.  Froehlich completed every lap of the weekend in the number 1 spot with his Champion Racing Intrepid.

Elated to be on the top step of the podium, Reed expressed his gratitude to Champion Racing and the Intrepid factory for providing a dominant machine.

In the Super G class Jeff Carter set the pace in practice and went into qualifying with the confidence to take a pole position.  Carter was involved in a first lap qualifying accident with an S1 driver that was on the course by mistake when the S1 driver cut the track.  Carter was able to limp his kart to a 3rd qualifying spot. 

Carter finished 2nd in the Pre-final.  In the Main Carter took his Champion Racing powered Intrepid/TM to the front and never looked back to take a hard earned win. 

After the qualifying accident Carter never regained his pace that he had in practice, 

with hard work and consistency Carter came out on top and celebrated in victory circle with one of his famous back flips.
 

 

Chad Bryant

In the 80 jr class Chad Bryant represented his Champion Racing powered Intrepid/ Honda well with a 3rd place finish.  Bryant, Witt and Jolly left the rest of the field and created a 3 kart battle.  Bryant ended up 3rd after a hard race with Jolly who eventually passed Witt for the victory.

 

 

Region's Cup

2 Intrepid drivers win ProMoto national championships in TAG SR and TAG Masters
Jeff Mills takes his Intrepid to the national #1 plate in the TAG Masters class.
Derek Crockett takes his Intrepid to the national #1 plate in the TAG Senior class.
 
5 Intrepid drivers score victories in the 2004 SKUSA Regions cup 
 
Michael Brookes scores a double win in the K1 and Tag masters class
 
Formula S1- 1st place-Chris Edens-Intrepid/Champion TM
Formula K1- 1st place- Michael Brookes-Intrepid/Champion Honda
TAG junior - 1st place- Bryce Cornet-Intrepid/Leopard
TAG senior- 1st place-Mike Jones-Intrepid/Leopard
TAG masters-1st place-Michael Brookes-Intrepid/Leopard
