The 80cc Junior driver will make the switch to First Kart after several strong runs in 2004. The 14-year-old competed in all three national series in last season accumulating several podium results and fast times along the way. The World Karting Association (WKA) Manufactures Cup provided Schiff with his strongest results in 2004 including a victory and fast time at Trane Motor Speedway. In the Stars of Karting Championship, Schiff qualified at the top five in every event and followed his strong qualifying results with 2nd, 4th and 5th place results throughout the year. The young talent competed in a lone SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) ProMoto Tour event, where he qualified on pole both days and finished with two strong podium results. In ’05, Schiff will compete in the 80cc Junior class at the WKA and Stars of Karting Championships as well as a few Florida Winter Tour events. Utilizing a James Willis tuned First Kart chassis and the potent power of SwedeTech, Schiff will look to have his strongest year to date. Schiff will begin his assault on the karting community at the WKA Kartweek in Daytona Beach, FL from December 27th to the 30th. “2005 is going to be tremendous year for the firstkart.com race team,” explained an excited Ventresca from his Guelph, ON office. “We have signed key drivers that will compete for championships in many of the major classes. We also have several top tuners to help get these drivers to the front and stay there throughout 2005 and beyond.” Schiff joins the firstkart.com race team following the recent signings of Daniel Morad, David Ostella and Rene Silva who will also all compete nationally throughout ’05. The First Kart North America squad is also working diligently on putting together a West coast race team in 2005.
