Rodney Berryhill resigns as

SKUSA Red River Region Director

As of 11-09-04 Rodney Berryhill has resigned from SKUSA as the Regional Director of the Red River/Alamo Region.

I have been the Red River/Alamo Director for eight years and have enjoyed working with all of our great staff, the different tracks in the region, and all of the outstanding racers.

I want to thank Jim Murley and Don Janowski for the great job they did to bring SKUSA up through the ranks and bringing Shifter Kart racing to the level it is today.

I would especially like to thank all of the racers and their families for supporting me the last eight years.

You ask, what will The Region be doing ?  Don't go crazy, there is something big coming from three different tracks joining up with two power house organizations to bring all classes and all racers back together in this area.  With all of the tracks working together, this will be the sprint series everyone will want to be a part of. This new Sprint Series is also working with the Southwest Roadrace Association (SWRA), so the schedules will not conflict and all the racers can road race and sprint race.

Stay tuned!  More to come about the new series.

Thank You;

Rodney Berryhill

Editor's Note:

Those of us in the Red River Region have enjoyed some great racing in the SKUSA Red River Region over the last few years.   It's traditionally been one of the largest regions in the country second only to the Mission Region in SoCal - and that by barely a "kartlength".

Thanks Rodney, we've had fun.
