WKA Speednews 12-02-2004 New Track Prep to be used at Daytona Following careful deliberation, World Karting Association Officials have decided to utilize a new track prep for the upcoming Dirt World Championships at Daytona Municipal Stadium, as part of Daytona KartWeek December 27-30. Officials realized if a decision were to be made, it needed to happen by the first of December, giving competitors an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming event. The second building begins with the Nascar Inspection Bay that includes in-ground scales along with 22 open-air garages. On the far end of this building are 8 enclosed garages that are not available for use by racers, however, they will be available for our tech inspection. Along with the traditional mailings this will help make sure everyone has an opportunity to vote. Please make sure that your district is up for re-election this year. Districts up for Trustee elections are: Districts 2 (Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, & Mississippi), 5 (Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, & West Virginia) and 8 (Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, & Pennsylvania). . The hard copy of the ballots are in the mail at this time, however if you choose to use the downloaded PDF version that will be accepted if filled out properly.
