St. Louis MO USA - December 3 & 4 will be the dates...The Las Vegas XPlex
will be the place!
The first weekend in a collection of large purse, premier division Kart
races, which aim to pay out at least A HALF MILLION DOLLARS ($500,000 USD)
over the course of the winter/spring of 2005-2006 has been slated to take
place at the fabulous XPlex Las Vegas!
Feature events, all paying large purses will be conducted both Saturday
and Sunday for drivers and teams in Karting's fastest categories.
Headlining the spectacular will be a $10,000 to win 5 Hour battle of
endurance for the wide range of racing machines meeting the designation of
a "TaG" Kart as defined by TaG USA rules.
This history making event will use a multi-driver format with a minimum of
three (3) drivers per team.
Also on the card:
A Two Hour $2,500 to Win Rotax Challenge for Karts equipped with Sealed
Rotax engines exclusively! (Rotax Karts are also eligible to race other
TaG Events)
A Two Hour $2,500 to Win Heavyweight Enduro for all TaG eligible Karts to
be contested at Masters weights (Open to all drivers 15 Years or older,
Drivers need not meet masters requirements.)
Two Hour events will require a minimum of Two Drivers per team.
Sprint racers will not be left of this thrilling weekend!
Comprising the sprint portion of the XPlex Spectacular:
A 25 Lap $2,000 to Win ICC/Moto Shifter Kart sprint
A 25 Lap $2,000 to Win ICA sprint
10 Lap Dash for Cash showdowns for TaG, TaG Heavy, Rotax, ICC/Moto, ICA!
All racing will take place on the smooth, ultra fast Xplex track in the
"National Championship" (.66 Mile) configuration, and all classes will be
contested rain or shine, during the daylight hours.
Speaking from 'the road' Grand Vitesse Racing's General Manager Glen
Mazzone was thrilled at the prospects of launching the venture..."We aim
to inspire the Karting world like we did with our history making $10,000
double header this past winter at Gainesville.
It seems nothing will raise the inspiration level higher than the prospect
of going home with Ten Grand...especially during the so-called off season.
By combining a single $10,000 true endurance race, 5 hours in duration
with a number of shorter events, paying smaller (but still huge by karting
standards) purses, and modest entry fees, you have an unbeatable
combination."
Pre entry is required for all events, with the exception of "Dash for
Cash" races.
Substantial discounts are available for early entry.
