OCTOBER 29, 2005

Toledo OH USA - Grand Vitesse Racing, Presenter of the largest purse Karting Events in North America, in conjunction with Grand Prix Distributing, and based upon popular demand, announced today, the formation of a Junior class 2 Hour event to be contested at the December 3-4 XPlex Spectacular.

The race, which is open to all TaG Jr./Rotax Jr. Karts, will allow younger drivers (per TaG USA/Rotax National Rules) to participate in what is shaping up to be the most exciting special event weekend of the 2005 season.

Two hours in duration, it will give Karting's rising stars a chance to implement teamwork, both on the track and in the pits. As in the adult races, a premium will be placed on discipline and consistency...something drivers who have only had an opportunity sprint race don't always get the chance to practice.

Grand Vitesse Racing's General Manager, Glen Mazzone explains: "We received quite a few calls, Emails, and read a number of posts on Karting Websites asking for a Junior class...We aim to please.
The time is available on the schedule to run a 2 Hour Enduro, so we decided to give it a try."

As with the TaG Heavy and Rotax 2 Hour races, teams will be limited to 2 sets of tires, with the compound and brand being unrestricted.

Teams in this event must consist of a minimum of 2 Drivers.

All teams must have an adult Team Manager to handle fees and release forms.

Grand Vitesse Racing is seeking input from Team Managers regarding entry fees and prize structure.

As with all Grand Vitesse Races, pre entry is required.

Those wishing more information about the  December 3-4 XPlex Spectacular should consult Grand Vitesse Racing's website: www.grandvitesseracing.com
