Fort Worth TX USA - Racers wishing to compete in the richest weekend of
the 2005 Winter Karting Season, The Vegas Xplex Megabucks Spectacular
presented by Grand Prix Distributing have a few more days to save 15% off
their entry fees!
The early entry deadline scheduled for November 4, 2005, has been extended
until Thursday, November 10, 2005.
With the heavy racing "main season" just schedule wrapping up, many of the
teams are now beginning to focus on Winter season events, and are just
becoming aware of the Spectacular.
Grand Vitesse Racing wants to give all participants a chance to take
advantage of the savings!
They now have another week to do so.
Those wishing to take advantage of the savings need to have their paid
entry Postmarked no later than November 10, 2005, to take advantage of the
savings.
Speaking from the floor at the Fort Worth Convention Center, scene of
opening round of the Bookoo Energy Drink Arenacross Series, Grand Vitesse
Racing's General Manager "Lots of the shops are just getting a chance to
post the poster we sent out, it has been a busy time...When they find out
how much prize money is being offered, universally they are interested in
fielding a team; We want to give everyone a chance to save some money!"
Headlining the December 3-4 spectacular, to be held at the fabulous XPlex
Motorsports Complex is a 5 Hour Tag endurance race paying a WHOPPING
$10,000 TO THE WINNING TEAM!
Also being contested are long distance (2 hour) races for TaG Heavy, Rotax
Max ($2,500 to Win each) TaG Jr. ($2,000 to Win).
Sprint races on the card include a Shifter Kart 25 Lapper ($2,000 to Win)
and an ICA 25 Lap sprint ($2,000 to Win).
Dash for Cash events will also be contested in all categories.
Prentry is required for all events (entry deadline November 25, 2005) and
teams are encouraged to take advantage of this substantial discount!

| EDITORS NOTE: Grand Vitesse has
been promoting this series through the year with some limited
success; they have paid out thousands on winnings as promised,
and offer the largest purse awards in history.
I met with Glen at NTK's NASCAR NIGHT and discussed the future of
TAG Spectacular Series. Frankly Glen has paid out a lot
more cash this year then any other series, including Stars and
SKUSA. It's surprising that the fields have not been packed.
If you're looking for an alternative to the politics of karting,
want to have a good time, and wouldn't mind the chance to win some
cash, you may want to team up with someone and enter.
Endurance racing has a different nature then sprint racing - it's
not about the fastest lap times, it's all about strategy, and
working as a team. Anyone with decent driving skills can win.
It's those who work as a team that have the most success.
Entry counts have been strong for this event, but have more room
to grow. Find a couple team mates and put your entries in, and
more then likely you'll plan on coming back for more. |
