Guelph, ON. – October 5, 2005. In an effort to generate a greater brand awareness of the First Kart product line, FirstKart.com has signed on to support the ninth annual SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals as a patron sponsor. The Guelph, Ontario based company will bring several drivers to the event to market their products and make a run at race wins and the chance to become SuperNationals champions.

“After competing in SKUSA events for the past several years and viewing the level of competition, I knew that we would have to be back as both competitors and sponsors and what better then to bring some support to SKUSA’s Joe Janowski and their excellent event,” explained Team Principal Tony Ventresca. “We will have several competitors in attendance as full diver lineup will be released at a future date, but I can assure you that all of FirstKart.com’s top pilots will be present.”

"FirstKart.com's participation and support of SuperNationals IX is a big part of this stellar event” stated SKUSA’s Marketing man Brian Robson. “Top-level drivers and ultra-competitive equipment are just two components that FirstKart.com race team will bring to the table. Superkarts! USA appreciates their support."

The FirstKart.com race team has had a lot of success over the past couple of years garnering several regional and national championships along the way. In ’03 Bobby Wilson claimed the Stars of Tomorrow ICC crown and in 2005 young Daniel Morad claimed the Florida Winter Tour ICC championship and became the youngest driver ever to win the Canadian National Championships a few months later. Both Gustavo Yacaman and Zach Schiff have torn up the junior categories at the national level claiming the JICA and 80cc Junior classes respectively and head to the Stars of Karting season final in Austin, Texas with the points lead. Eric Gerrits won the biggest race of his career at the Canadian National Championships in the Rotax Senior class and will now represent Canada and the FirstKart.com race team in Malaysia at the Rotax World Championships.
