Stars of Karting -- presented by Indy Racing League (IRL), Great
Lakes Pro Series, TaG USA and others to pledge your support this

According to Laps for Kids, LLC founder, Gary Kannegiesser, “Karting is
the bonafide training ground for motorsports professionals today,
and has been that way for some time. Yet, it is often overlooked as
a market and marketplace. Raising money for Victory Junction Gang
Camp, which is also a Charity of NASCAR, and was founded to help
special needs children after the tragic accident that claimed Adam
Petty’s life, is fitting, because his first racing experience as a
child was gained in karting.”
The current Highest Go-Kart Mileage record for 24 hours on an
outdoor circuit by a four-man team, is 1,062.5 miles (1,709.9 km).
It was set in 1997 by a team in Northern Ireland. By early fall, the
record will belong to an American karting team.
Kannegiesser is spearheading a drive that will raise consciousness
of karting as a motorsport as karting organizations work in concert
toward a common goal.
Most of the now famous pro drivers in the United States and abroad
began in karting. They include Michael Schumacher, Paul Tracy, Bryan
Herta, Jeff Gordon, and many more.
For their Guinness World Record attempt, Kannegiesser, national
karting champion Alan Rudolph, Tim Megenbier, and Phil Gordon with
alternate Cap Henery will wind their way into the history books on
December 10 and 11 at Firebird International Raceway hosted by the
Bondurant SuperKart School.

Rates are as follows and please make the under the Laps for Kids
block starting Monday $52.00 + tax per night. This would be for 1-4
people in a non-poolside room.
poolside room would be only $56.00 + tax per night (1-4
people).Poolside rooms have a patio door to the "outside".
We do have ground floor, poolside rooms called Business Zone Rooms.
They have a king size bed only, the room has a micro-wave and mini
refrigerator; room rate will be $61.00 + tax per night.
Check out is 11:00am, Late check out is 1:00pm; if you need it a
little later than that, they can put the instructions in the
computer. Depends on how late, may be an additional charge. They do
have a storage room we can lock our bags if they check out and
aren't leaving right away.
