Once a year the greatest spectacle in racing comes along from the downtown city streets of Rock Island Illinois as the city transforms the roads into a high-speed kart track.  With 125's topping 85 mph turning lap times in the 30 second range, average lap speeds on the 3200' long track are over 70 MPH.

Fifteen classes with over 390 entries will all have full fields and racing throughout the pack.

This year Rolling Thunder Multimedia will be back to film all the racing action from every turn and every lap.  DVD's from this event will be available in mid-October.  Also Subscribers will be getting the the chance to download each race as soon as the editing is complete.  This year the webcasting will be upped to a new 1.3 Megabit rate reaching broadcast television quality.
