Rotax World Finals News

The 2004 World Finals will be held in Lanzarote, located in the beautiful Canary Islands South of Spain. The event held January 20-22, 2005 will crown the world champions in Junior, International and RM1 classes for the 2004 season. Competitors from over 40 countries will attend this shootout to determine the best in the world.

The following drivers have qualified to continue on from the 2004 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Nationals in Las Vegas Nevada:

United States - 5 Total Drivers
1 Junior: Mike Herda
2 RM1's: Justin Melton and Nick Weil
2 International: Jordan Musser and Michael Johnson.

Once again, the same little track in Denton Texas sends 3 of the 4 drivers to the World Finals!

Mexico - 3 Total Drivers
1 Junior: Daniel Suarez Garza
1 RM1: Mauricio Carillo
1 International: Fidencio Guzman

Costa Rica - 2 Total Drivers
1 Junior: Jose Lizano
1 International: Juan Sanso

Junior drivers who qualify for the World Finals will compete on a CRG chassis as they did in Egypt.

International/ Max drivers who qualify for the World Finals will drive RM-1's for the World Finals.


RM-1 drivers will run RM-1's for the World Finals.

Participants will arrive for practice on January 18th and 19th.
