The Florida Winter Tour has evolved into one of the best short race
series in the country. Held in the land of "year-round summer"
Florida attracts many northern teams looking for valuable seat time
or just gives a great excuse to escape the ice & snow.
Top teams from Canada and the west coast are seen participating
giving a preview of what's to come later in the year - who's moved
up, who's on top of the game.
245 entries on Saturday alone in the 11 classes shows that Bill
Wright sure knows how to through a party. Race Director Chris
Eggers has a reputation for running large events to the minute
however with a much larger crowd then expected the last race was a
little bit behind. Former SKUSA President Jim Murley was also
on hand, with Bill and Rob Howden swapping the microphone between
Rob's stints in TAG Heavy. |
