Some of the best racing in the south comes in the winter months and
the North Texas Karters Polar Bear Series is no exception.
With entries coming from all over the state of Texas and a few from
Oklahoma, the Polar Bear Series has become a fabulous regional style
series run on a club level budget. 2006 marks the 4th year in
a row the series opened with 75° temperatures and sunny skies.
Racing was spectacular with names like Sean Owens, Chris Jennings,
and Jordan Musser battling for the lead. George Minchillo took
the Rotax Masters win in his first race in two years. Podium
