2006 Points Structure

802.1 NATIONAL ROAD RACING: For the National Road Racing Series, from 8 races, a competitor may count his best 6 Nationals. In the Spec 125 Sprint and Unlimited classes, from 16 Finals the best 12 Finals will count.

802.1.1 ROAD RACING BONUS: Bonus points for the Road Racing Series will be offered at the National Road Racing Series Daytona World Championships and the National Road Racing Series Grand Nationals.


802.1.2 ROAD RACING MINIMUM PARTICIPATION: An individual must compete in at least 6 National Road Racing events to count his/her Regional Bonus Points. In the Spec 125 Sprint and Unlimited classes, a competitor must run a minimum of 12 Finals for his/her Regional Bonus Points to count.

802.1.3 NATIONAL ROAD RACING YEAR-END AWARDS PROVISIONS: A competitor must participate in 5 of the 8 National Road Racing Series national events in order to qualify for year-end awards. In the Spec 125 Sprint and Unlimited classes, a competitor must participate in 10 Finals in order to qualify for year-end awards.
