¹ Kartweb Video Contest ¹ Here it is, the top ten videos from the contest. Some of them were posted a bit early to give everyone a chance to watch them through the holidays. They must have been well received as we had over 10,000 downloads in just a few weeks. There is a total of 2 hours of great video altogether. 1) Laguna Seca On Board - Ride along with ICE Driver Michael Kranz in the World SuperKart Challenge at 130 MPH at Laguna Seca! Towards the end of this 13:25 long clip Eddie Lawson thunders by at a +25 MPH speed differential in a Formula E. 2) SuperKart Cup Race 2 - Geoff Mitton produced this splendid video from Mallala Australia where they mix 80cc, 125cc, and 250cc racing at the same time. All classes run full bodywork. 13:55 long. 3) SuperKart Cup Race 3 - A second entry by Geoff Mitton. Geoff produces video for a living, and we may see more of his work in the future.... 14:02 long. 4) KartCam - This is simply the best on-board Kart Camera system made. Troy Stepp owner of Kart Cam submitted this video as a collection of 4 enduro races from inside a lay down chassis. This video features two camera coverage with picture-in-picture. This feature is a bit long at 21:27, but the last race is the best. These same systems can be ordered from KartCam.com. 5) BTK SKUSA - Shannon Hill submitted this trackside camera footage with creative editing. Shannon has quickly adapted to the shifters running in FMX in 2002, and moving to S1 for 2003. Shannon is developing his video and editing skills to produce some very fine karting documentaries in the future. 13:37 long. 6) 2002 World Finals - Onboard with Michael Johnson during the S1 Race from the 2002 World Finals. That kart off to the left on the start is his brother Phillip - trying to avoid someone else. You may notice the rather unusual front end design of the Evolution R/T Kart. 10:00 long. 7) Road Atlanta 125 Race - Onboard with Nathan Weber - (No onboard audio). Nathan takes his Yamaha powered Kart almost to the lead, then decides, well, watch the video! 14:19 long. 8) Road Atlanta Snippets - Erik Frank put together a collage of various onboard views from 125 & 250s front and rear views at the fast Road Atlanta track. 4:32 long. 9) Road Atlanta Part 2 - Onboard with Erik Frank in the 250 Race. 7:14 long. 10)
