  • Oct 28  Stars Karting Championships moved from Fontana to Moran Raceway.  With the cancellation of the Champ Car race due to the massive fires in SoCal, the event was moved to what is probably the most spectacular sprint track in the nation.
  • Oct 28  500 Miles of Kartodromo Farm Viana Cotia Brazil features an All-Star cast.  Preview of the November 8-9 race event.

  • Sept 01    Kartweb Server Outage - For the first time in our 14 months of operation, the Kartweb server suffered an unplanned shutdown.  It came at the worse time as the key staff were on the way to Rock Island, and had to perform a remote restart.  Not all of the components were back on line until this evening.  We apologize for the delay.

  • January 27  Florida Championship Series Schedules and Classes for 2003.
  • January 27  SKUSA Red River Region Website updated for 2003.  Banquet February 28 Friday Night inside the Dog Track Facility in Hitchcock.  Friday will be a practice day at the Hitchcock facility.
  • January 27  Beaver Run hosts 2002 Awards Banquet.
  • January 27  Stars Series releases 2003 Technical Regulations.  Kind of like a little from everyone, these rules target CIK with a liberal application of change to existing SKUSA and WKA classes. 

Week 4, 2003

  • January 24  Multimedia Theater Lobby remodeled in preparation for the 80+ productions scheduled for 2003.
  • January 24  Heartland Outlaw Sprint Series takes shape to fill the regional sprint racing void in the Iowa-Missouri-Illinois area.  The 5 race series schedule and other information is available from the HOSS website.
  • January 23  TCM Press Release introduces TAG USA program managed by Tom Argy Jr.  Four Major Tag racing events are planned leading up to a TAG Festival.  Two of these events are "enduro" style events running 24 hours and 12 hours.
  • January 23  SKUSA Press Release clarifies position on 2003 CIK Bodywork.
  • January 22  "I've seen the future" video.  See what's coming from Champion Racing for 2003.
  • January 21  Formula 125 Video action from "The Wild West Shootout" in Phoenix!  15 minutes and 12 seconds of Flag-to-Flag coverage coming to you in our new presentation format.  80Jr race coming next week, and its a barn-burner!  We have seen an increase in the number of overnight downloads from modem uses also!  This video takes about 4 hours to download at 56K.
  • January 21  SKUSA, IRL, NASCAR Share Texas Motor Speedway in Ft Worth Texas for Round 2 of the East/West ProMoto!  Press Release from SKUSA demonstrates how SKUSA puts the "Pro" in ProMoto.
  • January 20  Intrepid Importers named!  Champion Racing and Italian Motors have teamed up to import these evolutionary new chassis to the United States.  The Press Release is official, and some exciting video is coming!
  • January 19  SKUSA announces Pro-Moto opening round to be held in Jacksonville.  Efforts to assemble a temporary circuit in Orlando using the Tech Pro barriers was not able to to meet deadlines for 2003.
  • January 19  Rotax Grand Finals 2003 World Champion Decided!  24 year old Mark Cronje of South Africa takes home the gold in the Final.  Chris Carmody the best finishing US entry comes home 25th.  Zwartkops Report.  More coming as the Kartweb Sponsored Driver returns this week.
