Track Description Awesome track, physical yet you get a
couple of breathers on each 1 minute plus tour. With an
impressive 860 foot main straight-away, a 720 foot back straight,
and 4 legitimate passing zones, Moran Raceway has raised the
standards for the extreme driving experience. Add in 28 feet
of elevation changes and it's literally like adding a new dimension
to deal with for set up and driving. A blind 75 mph entry
which crests into a spectacular down hill plunge. Two of the drop's
are over 6% downhill while no up hill incline ever exceeds 2.5%. The
track also offers some subtle banking and off-camber sections. Up
to 6 different track configurations, although nearly everyone
prefers running the full distance. There are very restrictive
noise ordinances in place requiring Airboxes on all karts, and
special approved silencers for 80cc and 125cc Motos WITHOUT
EXCEPTION. Silencers and Airboxes are available at the track
for a very reasonable price. |
