Track Description At 34' this track is wider then most of the
roads in AZ. The wide track lends itself well to being easy to
drive quick, but very hard to drive very fast. Turns are laid
out to demand carrying speed and almost seem to be like a series of
interrupts on a shifter. There is no place for a nap on this
track, its very busy. This track is very hard drive
consistent lap times on. Just about the time you finally get
the feel for it things seem to change - grip in some turns increases
where grip in others may fall off a bit due to abused tires.
Tires take a grinding here and binding is big. This is the high
desert country, thin dry air in the winter, thin dry and very hot
air in the summer. Hydration is very important to keep your
electrolyte levels in balance in the summer afternoon sun. If
you have young children in the family take tweezers. You'll
know why after spending a day in the area. |
